About Us
Golden Years Senior Apartments consists of 90 one bedroom apartments and is owned a non-profit corporation. The mission is to provide safe, secure and affordable housing for low income seniors. The volunteer Board of Directors entered into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) to provided subsidized housing for those eligible to participate.
Golden Years Senior Apartments is part of a larger network from B'nai B'rith International. B'nai B'rith is the largest Jewish sponsor of federally subsidized housing for the elderly in the United States. For more than 30 years, in a cooperative partnership with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, B'nai B'rith has made rental apartments available for senior citizens with limited incomes. B'nai B'rith senior housing is open to all qualified individuals as defined by HUD, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, handicap or national origin. The B'nai B'rith Senior Housing Network in the United States consists of 42 buildings in 26 communities, encompassing more than 4,000 apartment units and serving more than 8,000 people.
